The project is born in September, 2003, with the idea to take a place in the diffusion of the music of Argentine artists with an extraordinary path and musical excellence which for not performing massive genres, they used to have difficulties to record their own productions.

The jazz and its mergers with urban music, the folklore rhythms, the tango and the “rioplatense” (Rio de la Plata folk music) music, form our vertebral column.

In spite of the short time that MDR takes on the Argentine market, has achieved a place inside it and also, step by step, in the international market. MDR is enriched by these years thanks to the diversity and to the young’s talented musicians offer, who, associated in remarkable projects with outstanding national and international artists, they have create the identity to the new urban music, mixture of rhythms, tonalities and the most varied musical landscapes.

MDR Records has a lot of titles, selected and grouped mostly by three series

- Notorious En Vivo (live productions realized in the prestigious Callao’s Avenue place);
- Clásicos (outstanding artist’s material);
- Nova ( new projects, new artist).

During 2005, we will continue with our development based in our new musicians and with the edition of outstanding musician’s projects.
